Continuously expanded and improved since its inception in 1996, AED Challenge
is the most interactive AED refresher training program available today. The program was developed by Insight Instructional Media after researchers at the University of Washington and Seattle/King County EMS found that interactive computer-based training is effective in maintaining AED skills.

Since then, AED Challenge has trained thousands of lay rescuers and emergency responders.

Insight Instructional Media’s goal is to create interactive training to prepare people from all walks of life to respond to an emergency. Since 1993, they have created over 40 interactive training programs including AED Challenge and the Emergency Medical Exam software.
